For a background on Yongtaifu (永泰福), see the listing for the 2010 Furong QLC.

On the origin of the “Jiangzhoujuan” name:

This production series thus pays tribute to the old commissions by Jiangzhou (Shanxi) merchants and stays faithful to the slightly above average weight of 1100 liang per log.

This is a relatively rare appearance of a pre-2010 Yongtaifu QLC. The roast adheres to the full fire-style the brand is known for. Mellow, mature aromas with some camphor and chocolate and a nice thickness to the tea liquor. The 2006 production used Gaomaerxi material.

Note: This tea may contain golden flowers (Jinhua/金花), a perfectly natural occurrence in certain heicha teas. Their development depends on factors like microbial activity, storage conditions, and time. However, individuals with Celiac Disease or severe gluten allergies should exercise caution, as we cannot guarantee that no wheat-based materials were involved at any stage of production.
